About Me

Leadership Skills Guided by Faith: My Personal Story

Please let me tell you a little more about myself. You probably already figured out that I am a dog owner who is undeniably in love with my white shepherd, Ella. On a top ten list of the best decisions I’ve ever made, getting her would be right up there or tied with the day I married my husband lol. I’m not concerned about saying this because he would probably say the same thing!

Living with Purpose Today

I spent my career working in the judicial system, and a good portion of that time managing people. As my husband would say, I am very good at telling people what to do. Similarly, growing up, my stepson had to remind me at times that he wasn’t my employee. It was apparent that God had gifted me with leadership skills. I used these skills in my career as a judicial employee but by 2020, I felt the Lord calling me elsewhere. It was then that I enrolled in the Pastoral Leadership Program through The Christian & Missionary Alliance. This two-year program gave me a deeper understanding of who God is and what my role is in the Kingdom. I discovered that not only did God gift me with leadership abilities, but He also equipped me to teach. I graduated in April 2023, which was one of the most humbling yet proudest moments of my life. Since that time, God has entrusted me with the care and teaching of the women in my church.

How Jesus Changed My Life

My life is a true testament of how Jesus can take a lost, broken, and rejected woman and restore her to wholeness. My story is different from yours, but the common denominator is sin. Sin kept me in bondage and separated me from God’s unfailing love. It was when I came to my lowest point, weary and tired of living the way I was, that Jesus saved me. In my desperation, I cried out to Him and asked Him to forgive me of my sins and be the Lord of my life. I am not in charge anymore. He is! Not only am I forgiven, but I am His child, and I have the promise of eternal life. The Bible says in 1 John 5:13-14, “I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life. This is the confidence we have approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.”

Jesus Transforms Lives

You can be certain today that you have eternal life with Jesus. No sin is too big for Him. He desires us to approach Him with humility, confess our sins, and then turn away from that sin through repentance. He also seeks to transform each of us through the power of the Holy Spirit. When we encounter Jesus, it’s impossible to stay the same! I would love to share more with you about how Jesus has changed my life. Please send me a message by clicking the link below. By the way, saying yes to Jesus is the best decision I’ve ever made!
